# Setup Guide

## Setup Guide

### 1. Removing Antivirus & Anti-cheat

* Uninstall all third-party [antivirus software](#user-content-fn-1)[^1]
* Uninstall all third-party [anti-cheat software](#user-content-fn-2)[^2]

**Do not uninstall** Easy Anti-cheat (EAC) or BattlEye.

### 2. Disable Security Settings

Disable security settings, including real-time protection, tamper protection, and memory integrity.

### 3. Setting up the Loader

#### Choose a VPN

The CORE loader requires the user to have a `Hong Kong (HK)` IP address to authenticate. You must connect to an `HK` VPN in order to use the loader. **You can disconnect from the VPN once you have injected.**

* use a [premium VPN](https://go.nordvpn.net/SH8k3)
* use a [free VPN](https://windscribe.com/yo/16oey0fd)

#### Continue with loader setup

* set the PC's [date and time](ms-settings:dateandtime) to `Hong Kong (UTC +08:00)`
  * Toggle `Set time automatically` to `ON`
  * click `Sync now`
* Download the loader file from [your order](https://account.dexa.im/orders)
* Extract the `DEXAiM-MB.zip` contents directly to your desktop or a folder
* Right-click -> run as administrator on the `LOADER.bat`
* Check [your order](https://account.dexa.im/orders), `copy` your `license key`

* Launch the game
* At the main menu (after logging in), `ALT+TAB` back to the loader
* Paste the `license key` where the loader states `Key:`

Even after you have input a license key and are using the loader again, it will show your license key next to `Savea Key [ ]`, **You must** **always copy and paste the license key each time.**

* Press `ENTER`

Sometimes the loader won't respond to the `ENTER` key on the first press. Just press `ENTER` again. The loader cursor should drop down a line.

* The loader will load the cheat and inject.

* Use the `INS`  key to open and close the menu
  * you can set the language of the loader in the bottom left; the default will be Chinese
