# Troubleshooting

## Issue: No ESP visible in-game after using "refresh cheat" button

* press the Windows key -> type `exploit` -> open *Exploit Protection*
* set the settings to these values:
  * control flow guard: `ON`
  * data execution prevention: `ON`
  * force randomization for images: `OFF`
  * randomize memory allocations: `ON`
  * high-entropy ASLR: `ON`
  * validate exception chains (SEHOP): `ON`
  * validate heap integrity: `ON`

## Error: Can't find game process

This impacts Windows 11 users. We have implemented a `compatibility mode` to resolve this:

* if you encounter this error, choose `NO`
* otherwise, choose `YES`

If you choose `NO` for the `compatibility mode` version of this product, you can also do this to resolve issues:

* press the Windows key -> type `cmd` -> right click, run as administrator -> type `bcdedit /set hypervisorlaunchtype off`
* reboot PC after running this command

Alternatively, force the game to run in DirectX 11 mode:

* in the Steam Library, right-click *Arc Raiders* -> click `Properties` -> in *Launch Options*, type `-dx11`

## Error: Load Driver

Something is blocking the loader from loading things.

* follow the steps in the guide for "Removing Antivirus & Anti-cheat"
* follow the steps in the guide for "Disable Security Settings"
* your ISP or firewall (either on the PC or your router) is blocking the loader from downloading the cheat
  * use a [premium VPN](https://go.nordvpn.net/SH8k3)
  * or, use a [free VPN](https://windscribe.com/yo/16oey0fd)

## HWID Mismatch

The PC's HWID changed or the license was used on a different PC.

* open a ticket to redeem a HWID reset key from support

## Screen Flashing

The game repeatedly minimizes and maximizes the screen.

* change the game display to borderless windowed or windowed mode; reinject

## Code Execution Can Not Proceed Because...

* follow the steps in the guide for "Preparing Windows"

## Already typed username/password

When the loader is opened, the <kbd>username</kbd> and <kbd>password</kbd> fields are already populated with text.

## No Menu showing in-game after clicking OK on the pop-up

* change the game display to borderless windowed or windowed mode; reinject

## Loader just closes after clicking inject or after the black cmd windows open

The loader isn't able to download the payload (cheat) to the PC. Network or Antivirus related issue.

* follow the steps in the guide for "Removing Antivirus & Anti-cheat"
* follow the steps in the guide for "Disable Security Settings"
* your ISP or firewall (either on the PC or your router) is blocking the loader from downloading the cheat
  * use a [premium VPN](https://go.nordvpn.net/SH8k3)
  * or, use a [free VPN](https://windscribe.com/yo/16oey0fd)
* in rare cases, some products do not support Windows 11 23H2; update to 24H2 or [dual-boot-windows](https://docs.dexa.im/learn/resources/windows-10-and-11-guides/dual-boot-windows "mention")

## Memory Error

The loader isn't able to download the payload (cheat) to the PC. Network or Antivirus related issue.

* follow the steps in the guide for "Removing Antivirus & Anti-cheat"
* follow the steps in the guide for "Disable Security Settings"

## Error: nmap driver

The loader isn't able to map the cheat driver on the PC. Vulnerable driver block-list or antivirus related issue.

* follow the steps in the guide for "Removing Antivirus & Anti-cheat"
* follow the steps in the guide for "Disable Security Settings"
* follow the steps in the guide for "Disable the Vulnerable Driver Blocklist"

## Can't find game

* check to make sure you are using the correct client; some games require the use of Steam or other game-specific launchers. This is usually noted in the loader.

## Randomly not working, injecting, etc.

* delete the `.ini` file located in the same directory (folder) as the loader exe

## In-game visuals streteched, distorted, torn, etc.

Some cheats do not support ultra high resolutions (typically 4K and up).

* change the game display to borderless windowed or windowed mode; reinject
* set the game's resolution below 4K (typically 2560 x 1440 or lower)
  * most of our cheats utilize the Discord overlay; this is capped at 2560 x 1440
