Setup Guide

Do not skip steps. Our products are only compatible with official builds of Windows 10 & 11. If you need to reinstall Windows, see Clean Windows Install

1. Preparing Windows

• Update your video card (GPU) drivers:

  • NVIDIA GPU drivers

  • or AMD GPU drivers

• Download & install:

  • Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables

  • Microsoft .NET framework (v8.0) & .NET framework (v4.8.1)

  • Microsoft DirectX End-User Runtimes

2. Removing Antivirus & Anti-cheat

• Uninstall all third-party antivirus software

• Uninstall all third-party anti-cheat software

For example, Riot's Vanguard anti-cheat.

Do not uninstall Easy Anti-cheat (EAC) or BattlEye.

3. Disable the Vulnerable Driver Blocklist

• Download the Turn OFF Windows Vulnerable Driver Blocklist registry file below

  • Extract the contents of the .ZIP archive to the desktop or a folder

  • Run the .REG file -> click Yes

  • Reboot the PC

Some users have reported that the Vulnerable Driver Blocklist will be re-enabled after a PC reboot. Always check this before using this product.

4. Disable Security Settings

Disable security settings, including real-time protection, tamper protection, and memory integrity.

5. Install RivaTuner

• Launch RivaTuner

6. Preparing the Game

• Launch the game

  • change video settings to borderless windowed mode or windowed mode

  • verify the game's resolution matches the monitor's display resolution

  • save any changes

  • close the game

7. Preparing the Loader

• Download the loader file from your order

• Extract the contents of the .ZIP archive to the desktop or a folder

• Right-click -> run as administrator on the loader file

This loader uses a generated account and password rather than a license key, as typically seen with most other products.

• Check your order

• Copy the username:password from the license key button

• Paste the username in the enter login field

• Paste the password in the enter password field

• Click log-in -> choose apex -> click load

• You will see:

VERTEX is ready.

• Launch the game.

Setup complete!
