What is DMA?

Consider bans a thing of the past - DMA is the gold standard for cheats.

Why DMA?

AAA titles like Fortnite, Apex Legends, ARC Raiders, etc. require a cheat with experienced development teams behind them who can stay on top of anti-cheat measures enforced by anti-cheat software like EAC and Vanguard. No longer can you expect to play with cheats for months or years without being banned at least once. Bypassing anti-cheat is simply becoming increasingly difficult.

Using cheat software on the same PC you play the game on exposes you to risk, period. DMA cheating fixes this by isolating the cheat software to another PC.

If you plan to cheat long-term and rack up hours of playtime under one account - DMA is the solution.

What is DMA?

Direct Memory Access, or DMA for short: DMA is a unique approach to modern anti-cheat. It gives the ability to use cheat software on a separate PC. For example, using cheats on the gaming PC without any cheat software running directly on the gaming PC.

The anti-cheat cannot detect what it cannot see - isolating the cheat to a separate PC eliminates this risk. This means DMA cheats do not get detected. DMA users frequently play for years (or indefinitely in some cases) without bans.

What do I need for DMA?

DMA requires a few pieces of hardware. At minimum, you need: a DMA card and a second PC.

For the best DMA experience, you can buy additional hardware - like a fuser and a HID (aim device). More on that later.

Required: DMA Card

DMA cards allow you to connect your main, gaming PC and a separate PC running cheat software while presenting itself as a normal device on the gaming PC - like a printer or USB device.

DMA cards come in three speeds: 35T, 75T, and 100T. Speed is measured by the "T" rating. The higher the number, the faster the card.

What is a DMA "T-rating?"

The T-rating on DMA cards refers to the number of logic cells on the FPGA chip used on the card.

Specifically, the number preceding the "T" is a shortened name for the approximate number of logical cells in thousands:

• 35T - approximately 33,000 logical cells

• 75T - approximately 75,000 logical cells

• 100T - approximately 100,000 logical cells

The more logical cells available, the more complex the firmware can be on the card. A larger FPGA can often handle more operations in parallel and at a higher overall throughput, which translates to a faster and more responsive experience. In cheating, this means less lag between the game and the information displayed to the user (ESP/wallhacks), which is crucial for competitive play.

Additionally, higher logic cell counts offer better detection resistance. More powerful FPGAs can run firmware with better and more complex emulation features, making the card appear more authentic to the anti-cheat software, which is key to long-term detection resistance.

In short, bigger is better. Higher T-ratings mean:

• larger, more complex firmware capabilities

• faster read/write speeds/throughput

• lower latency/faster response times

DMA cards use the PCIe x1 slot size - so it'll fit in any spare PCIe slot you have on your motherboard.

The only available PCIe slot I have is blocked by a GPU?

Use a right-angle PCIe riser cable.

I do not have any free PCIe slots?

Consolidate the PCIe devices using your current PCIe slots or upgrade the PC hardware. Do not use PCIe riser cards/expansion cards. These are expensive and will not work for this use-case.

Are there cheaper options?

You can find DMA cards using Alibaba, Taobao, Sugargoo, etc. however - we strongly advise against this. DMA cards physically install into your PC - low quality components, untested cards, and other issues plague the DMA market. This market is not regulated and does not enforce quality standards on products. This means faulty hardware that can put your PC components at risk.

The DMA cards we recommended are from a reputable DMA card manufacturer. Buying from them ensures you will get quality, tested product you can trust.

What about 35T cards?

We do not recommend 35T cards. 35T is quickly becoming obsolete both in performance and security.

Required: Firmware

Firmware is the specialized program that lives permanently on the DMA card's main chip (the FPGA) and tells it exactly how to behave.

Feature: 1:1 Firmware

A 1:1 firmware for a DMA card is a specialized firmware that is a perfect, bit-for-bit clone of the firmware and configuration space of a real, legitimate PCI Express device (the "donor card").

The term "1:1" emphasizes the goal of maximum fidelity and accuracy in the emulation, which is the gold standard for stealth.

It is a specialized program that is permanently loaded onto the card's main chip, the FPGA.

Free vs. Custom Firmware

Free firmware: This firmware is typically based on open-source projects (like PCILeech and ekknod) that are available on public repositories like GitHub.

The Primary Risk: Free firmware provides a great starting point for developers, but for users, it is a known entity to anti-cheat systems. Using it is like wearing a common, mass-produced disguise that security personnel can easily recognize.

Custom Firmware - The DEXAIM DMA Standard: custom firmware, especially true 1:1 Custom Firmware like what is offered by DEXAIM, is developed specifically for stealth and exclusivity.

The DEXAIM DMA Advantage: When you use a paid, 1:1 CFW, you are using a unique disguise that is not publicly indexed. This requires anti-cheat developers to specifically target your card's precise behavioral patterns, which is resource-intensive and much harder to do without causing false positives.

Optional: Fuser

For ESP functionality, you will need a fuser.

A fuser is another physical device like a DMA card, though it does not install into your PC. It sits on your desk. A fuser does what it says on the tin: it fuses the video output of your gaming PC with the DMA PC.

Because we are running the cheats on a separate, DMA PC, we can't draw ESP or visuals on the gaming PC. Fusers fix this problem up by fusing the DMA PC and gaming PC together - a seamless experience as if you were using cheats on the gaming PC.

HIDs are like fusers: they fuse inputs from your mouse on the gaming PC and translate any aimbot math coming from the cheat on the DMA PC together into output back to the gaming PC. This allows aimbot functionality.

The best option?

Keeping HIDs simple: go with the MAKCU. It's widely supported by most products and it just works. Honorable mention: it's the cheapest component you'll purchase for a DMA setup.

Why not recommend the KBMOX NET and KMBOX B+ PRO?

In the HID space, KBMOX NET and KMBOX B+ PRO have been around for some time. The hardware behind these HIDs are becoming obsolete in both performance and security. For this reason, we do not recommend them.

What is the advantage of the Ferrum One HID?

The Ferrume One HID is the superior choice in the HID market if the budget allows. It is capable of much higher polling rates (up to 8,000 Hz), ultra-low latency (under 0.125ms), and has its own firmware, compared to all other devices on the market.
